Night after Night in France 2: “This is a big responsibility”, Charlie Brunow gives the victims of votes to the enormous series

This Monday, March 10, France 2 begins after the night, a sad series that has Charlie Bruno, Alice Dubeluri, Ludmila Daba, Marie Malia, Miriam Burguinion and Rafael Langlett.

The story is followed by a trip to Stephanie, Camille, Isabel and Nafisa. A victim of serial repression, these four women join the forces to break silence.

In the middle of the night, they were attacked, they followed the same operating regime, the same surprise. They have to talk about the issue of life or death, they have to talk more and more strongly to hear the hopelessly deaf society.

With the help of Karin, with a gendarmerie that creates a common cause with them, and the novel, the stinging of Stephanie, these heroins are struggling to restore and avoid everything in life …

Through this fiction, after the night, it emphasizes the power of sorieth and the meaning of the victim’s words. A sad story that leaves no indifference.

Meet Charlie Brunow, one of the heroine in the series.

Separation: What did you like “after the night” in the script and convince you to participate in this project?

Charlie Brunow : Although this topic has already been discussed, it is rare to see a series that approaches the victim. That is, we often see series of sexual abuse and rape, but it is often the prism of police investigation. Here, we will look at the view of the victims about what will be related to the actual statement of sororicity. It is quite rare to see a series that explores the solidarity of this woman in the background, such a heavy subject.

In connection with my character, I found an interesting one that I saw a woman who, because she created a class defector, made her own. It develops in a bourgeois environment where you say nothing where everything is hidden and it first takes this implicit rule. Then, he realizes that this silence stops him, that he has made himself not to find his voice, but to discover it for the first time. Its durability will gradually lead to it to restore itself otherwise. He is a very difficult character that develops on six episodes, and I found it very interesting.

The series is inspired by a real story. How do you understand such an emotionally busy role, knowing that it echoes real events?

What was the real interrogation for me and what really weighed my decision after meeting the director is the extreme sensitivity of the subject. This series asks questions, but it does not give ready answers. That is, we interpret the characters that can help and are as close as possible to what a certain sacrifice can live. It was a big responsibility.

I often wondered: Am I going to offend anyone? Are we real? Questions are asked correctly? And, first of all, is there a message that we spend, is it okay? The news itself, I didn’t see more than that. What I have seen is definitely my responsibility for women who speak today, victims, relationships with justice, and relationships between them.

Exchange victims or specialists to store your interpretation?

I didn’t need it. After speech, I realize that I have more friends who have experienced attacks, rape, and inappropriate treatment than friends who have happened. So I didn’t need to meet the victim because unfortunately I have it around me.

As a result of his father’s violence, Stephanie found stability with her husband until her life was shattered after raping. How do you perceive its evolution and internal power?

I interpreted a person, I think I can’t be in life. She has incredible power and wisdom, especially in relation to her husband, who is odious and deplorable. He really has this power and this wisdom to give him time to find himself after this drama. I feel like there are many people who can do it. I think her childhood violence allows her to realize the paths that she will pass and that her husband has to go through. It is a rehearsal of the drama in his life, which allows her to be patient to wait for her husband to choose.

The series will handle difficult things, but remains full of light and hope. What do you think this shine brings to the story?

Sorority! The collective always prefers the rest. I think this is what helps to get a positive story. Characters are not isolated unless they decide. As soon as they want to be worn, help and support, they may be. I think this is what makes this story clear.

One of the forces of the series is to use the “camera kind” to express the thoughts of female characters. Technique that you know well with a series Family.

They have completely different garbage. In the family it is a connection with viewers. It is definitely an eye that creates a connection between society and characters. While there, it is an intimacy of personality. In fact it is a blog. This is really a difference between the social character, and what is emotionally happening to him at that time.

It was a director who had the idea, not written from the beginning. He made them slightly improvised daily and asked us to improve a very specific textbook. It was very difficult to turn it on, because it was a truly intimate relationship and you felt as if you were watching a locking hole when you were driving them. It is very strange, it is very shameful to present such thoughts of your thoughts. Once upon a time, I felt that I was giving me what I was living emotionally in my character. I really had a great feeling that is interesting because it gives the essence of emotion what we live when it happens. I like them very much because I find them very raw.

This is also a way to give the victims to the floor …

Exactly! I fully agree with this, and I thought it was an idea that was excellent from the director, because on the one hand, there was everything that society would make us live, on the other hand, a place of raw talk. It feels good to see it!

If you have to keep up with a substantial message that the series is transmitted or that you want the community to keep up, which one will it be?

Sorority! I think this is the future of man. I was already sure. I have very clear positions on feminism and what can be brought. My father is the most feminist person I know. I was lucky to have grown up with great freedom, I was a perfect person, to be liberated from his thoughts, and to live in his life as suitable. Today I realize that this is a great chance that not everyone is given. I believe it is this freedom that will bring us something brighter. And this series, it will give us this message: If you are together, everything is possible.

Finally, what is the night after?

Justice! At the moment, this is not the case, but I hope this is a message. If the series has to have another message, it should really move on to hearing and sacrifice. We still have a huge way. Because of many women who are in the associations of all of us, the road is very long and difficult. Speech release is very good, but there is still a lot of work to do on fairness management. After the night, I hope there is justice.

Do you have any other project you can tell us about?

I can tell you that after leaving the night, I have chained Forget me Which was absolutely funny. Suddenly, I needed a little more funny (laughter) projects. So I took 6×52, directed by Stéphanie Pilonca, called beautiful papers, which is a comedy in which I have a secondary role, but what would be pretty fun, I think. And there, I stay with the adventurers, directed by La Faser, who is an action comedy.
