Former player Walter Montillo, who had periods in Cruzeiro, Santos and Botafogo, has announced that he will hold a farewell game. The event will take place in Santiago, at the Chilean National Stadium, to be defined.
Retired from 2021, Montillo decided to wear the Universidad de Chile shirt, a club in which he became an idol.
The confirmation came out on Montillo’s social networks with the phrase: “The wait is over … Montillo, goodbye”.
Montillo’s last official game was on February 13, 2021, when he witnessed the 3-1 victory of the Universidad de Chile on Antofagasta.
After his retreat, the former player dedicated himself to his family and personal affairs and moved from Chile to Spain.
