It is not difficult to name yourself when you already carry one of the greatest actors of French cinema. But, on the other hand, on the other side of the Alps, young Franco-Italian actress Devia Kassel, daughter of Vincent Cassell and Monica Beluchi, decided to start her career.
His presence in the mini series Le Gepard offers him the first role, but also the opportunity to compete with the legendary actor. Deva Cassell inherits the role of Angelica Sedara, which Claudia Cardinal camped in Lucino Visconti, Palme d’Alt, and in 1963 considered one of the great masterpieces of cinema.
“For me it was a real honor from Claudia Cardinal, who is an excellent and untouchable actress.”Deva Kassel told our colleagues Associate Press. “It was just my second project, so it was very stressful to get such responsibility.”
Long and intense shooting
Shooting a series was not easy for a young actor. Historical production obligations, brilliant costumes were carried out by Gevard actors. But after six months of work, and especially in the Italian summer heat, translators pointed out how they had an impact on their shooting on their silhouette:
After six months of filming, I saw the changes. I think I lost about two centimeters of lumbar because of the heat and because it was very tight.
