Neil Gaiman, author of “Sandman”, a work that is about to be adapted on Netflix, has posted a message for Brazilian fans on his social networks.
Gaiman has published a text on his social networks, especially dedicated to the Brazilian and Brazilian fans of “Sandman”. By inserting the link to the Brazilian trailer of the Netflix series, a new adaptation of the comics acclaimed around the world, he sent a message directly to Brazil.
“The first country in the world to discover Sandman was Brazil,” the author began. “The comics were published there translated into (honesty forces me to admit) much better editions than the American comics. Each issue had an enlarged cover detail on the back cover and illustrated essays that explained or expanded things in the comics. “
In addition, Gaiman spoke about the Brazilian adaptations of his work for the theater and the relationship with the public. “Brazil was the first place the audience went on stage with me (ok, that was a little scary) and the first place I saw a Sandman adaptation (the same stage a little bit earlier, it was the part of the oldest game by Uma Esperança on Hell). So this is me saying a special greeting to Brazil and all Brazilian Sandman readers, “continued Gaiman, concluding with” Bons dreams! ” in Portuguese.
