CADE approves the sale of Wilson Sons Control in Sas, from MSC

The General Superintendency of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (fall) approved on Friday, without restrictions, the Wilson Sons controls the sales agreement for shipping agencies (SAS), a subsidiary of the European transport group Marítimo MSC, as shipped.

Wilson Sons, the Brazilian port service company, reported in a relevant fact on approval, noting that the agency’s decision becomes definitive after 15 days from the publication of the decision in the Federal Official Gazette.

The company also stressed that, also with the approval of Cade, the completion of the company’s completion of control is still depends on other previous conditions, including the approval of the National Waterway Transport Agency (Antaq).

Wilson Sons Controller, Ow Owrseas, signed last year to sell its 56% share in the Brazilian company for the European MSC group, in an activity of $ 4.35 billion. At the time, Wilson Sons said he expected to complete the operation in the second half of this year.
