“Blonde”: Marilyn Monroe’s Biopic Gets First Trailer; look

The biopic “Blonde,” starring Ana de Armas as the beloved and controversial Marilyn Monroe, won its first Netflix trailer.

“Marilyn Monroe exists only on screen,” says Norma Jeane’s portrayal of Ana de Armas, the Hollywood icon portrayed in the film “Blonde”, a biopic that promises to reimagine Monroe’s life and intimacy, an adaptation of the 2000 novel of the same name, by Joyce Carol Oates.

This is the first trailer for the feature film, which had previously won a teaser. Watch the official trailer for “Blonde”:

The trailer features the frustration of the woman behind the icon, who ends up hiding under the unreachable figure of Marilyn Monroe. “I know you have to get used to it. But I can not. I played Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn Monroe. I can’t bear to do another scene with Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn doesn’t exist. When I leave my dressing room, I’m Norma Jeane. I continue to be when the camera is recording. “

This will be the first original movie ever released by Netflix with an NC-17 rating. Other films on the platform have already received such an indicative rating, but when it comes only to original films, “Blonde” will be the first.

“Blonde” is directed and written by Andrew Dominik and produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Tracey Landon and Scott Robertson. In addition to Ana de Armas, the cast includes Bobby Cannavale, Adrien Brody, Xavier Samuel, Julianne Nicholson, Lily Fisher, Evan Williams, Toby Huss, David Warshofsky, Caspar Phillipson, Dan Butler, Sara Paxton and Rebecca Wisocky.
