Oscar -winning film for best international film is part of the new We Love Cinema initiative, focused on independent cinema
The Chinese Distributor Hyshow acquired the rights to exhibit I’m still hereBrazilian drama directed by Walter Salleswinner of the Oscar de Best International Film. The feature will be released in China as part of the initiative We Love Cinemaa new seal created to highlight independent and prestigious productions in the Chinese market.
The announcement was made during the Hong Kong Filmmartevent focused on the Asian film industry. The program seeks to expand the presence of copyright films in the country and foresees the creation of a circuit specialized in independent cinema, with rooms dedicated to the display of these productions.

What is the story of I’m still here?
Based on the book of the same name of MARCELO RUBENS PAIVA, I’m still here is set in Rio de Janeiro in the early 1970s, amid the military dictatorship, and tells the story of Eunice (FERNANDA TORRES), mother of five, who engages in an endless search for the truth after her husband, Rubens (Selton Mello, The Auto da Compadecida 2), be brought by police to the landscape and disappear.
