An operation of the food security program has seized 2.1 tons of inappropriate products for consumption in Arroio do Tigre, Tuesday (18). During the inspection in five factories, an agri -food was forbidden by the irregular massacre of animals without health inspection, leading to the rendering of 900 kilos of pork carcasses.

In addition to the non -inspection meat, the agents identified late products, without origin, preserved outside the ideal temperature and with irregularities in the labeling. Even the seized units of alcohol for sale prohibited in the markets, which will be intended for the municipal health agencies of the region.

The Rio Grande Do Sul (MPRS), municipal health surveillance, the state health secretariat, the Seapi, the Consumer Police Station (Decon) and the environmental patrol of the military brigade (Patram) was attended by the public service. The prosecutor Alcindo Luz Bastos da Silva Filho, of the consumer prosecutor of Porto Alegre, accompanied the action.
