On Wednesday Russia and Ukraine accused each other from having launched air attacks that hit civil objectives, including infrastructures, a few hours after President Vladimir Putin told President Donald Trump who would take a break in the attacks on Ukraine’s energy system.
On call Tuesday, Putin refused to support a 30 -day fire required by Trump and previously accepted by Ukraine. Putin said he agreed with a limited break in attacks on energy infrastructures, which was then accepted by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
After Russia launched its air attacks at the beginning of Wednesday, Zelenskiy asked the world to block any Moscow attempt to extend the war.
“Russia is attacking civil infrastructures and people right now,” said Andriy Yermak, head of Zelenskiy staff at night on Telegram.
The German Defense Minister said that Putin’s agreement temporarily stops attacking Ukrainian energy structures was not worth “nothing” and Trump should have obtained higher concessions.
“The attacks of civil infrastructures the first night after this alleged elementary and a large call did not decrease,” said Boris Pistorius to the German broadcaster Zdf. “Putin is playing here and I am sure that the President of the United States will not be able to sit and look much more time.”
Several attacks
Both parties in the war described dozens of drones attacks at night. The Ukrainian regional authorities stated that the houses were affected in the Sumy region and in the region around the capital and that the attacks hit the power supply system that provides the railways to the south. The Russian authorities said that an oil terminal was hit in the south of Russia, causing a fire.
In Sumy, the regional authorities said that even the attacks of Russian drones have damaged two hospitals, not causing injuries, but forcing the removal of patients and hospital staff.
In the Kiev region, the authorities said that a 60 -year -old man was injured. Most of the damage near the capital was located in the Buhaca district, where the police said that the air attacks destroyed or damaged 18 private houses, 20 apartments, 19 vehicles, two shops and a coffee.
Ukraine also reported Russian attacks in the city of Sloviansk, near the first -line line, at the time of Tuesday’s phone call, which left part of the city without power.
Zelenskiy said Russia launched more than 40 drones against Ukraine during the call between Trump and Putin Call. The Ukrainian army said that Russia launched 145 drones. The aerial defenses massacred 72 and 56 were lost.
“The Russian attack influenced the regions of Sumy, Odessa, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kiev and Chernihiv,” said the military on Telegram.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that its units destroyed 57 Ukrainian drones at night, 35 of them on the Kursk border region. The Ministry informs only how many drones have been destroyed, not how many have been released by Ukraine.
