Law and order: SVU is officially back in production for the new season, and longtime star Mariska Hargitay has already provided some behind-the-scenes glimpses to reveal that fans have a lot to look forward to. Not only did she share a snapshot of her return to work Organized crimeby Christopher Meloni, but she revealed a first look the new detective coming to Special Victims , played by Molly Burnett. SVU Yes Organized crime crossovers are always highly anticipated, whether Benson and Stabler join forces for a great two-part film or one of them appearing on the other’s show. It hasn’t been confirmed one way or another though SVU Yes Head will return in September as part of a three-way connection with Right but the BTS photo of Mariska Hargitay reveals that Benson and Stabler will be together in the captain’s office at the start of season 24.
