Why Big Brother Guests Should Ditch A Popular Strategy After Season 24’s Last Blindside

Attention! The following contains spoilers for the Older brother Live Eviction of Season 24 airs Thursday, July 28. Read at your own risk!

Older brother Season 24 just delivered its second dark of the season, and boy, what a time to be a fan. It seems we finally have a group of guests ready to turn the tide of season 16 with the success of Derrick Levasseurand people are ready to play early and play often. I mean, the trend of being low-key and “going with the house” to eliminate threats from the game isn’t happening this season, and I think there’s a reason future house guests are abandoning it completely.

Gossipify continues to follow the events of the game with a Paramount + subscription , and if there’s one thing I’ve noticed this week, it’s that so many guests are actively taking action to advance their game. Following Derrick’s success with the most passive strategy in season 16, the Houseguests often operate as if they have little impact on their odds in the first few weeks of play. The reality is that more often than not, passive players tend to kill their chances of winning long before they leave.

Imagine if this week was over love you Matt Turner originally planned and ended up putting nicole layog Yes healthy tailors on the block from side to side. Sure, Taylor had fans at the game, but I’m not sure he would have survived the lockdown for the third straight week. Nobody’s game would have been affected by Taylor’s departure, but I’d say nobody’s chances of winning would have been better.

In exchange, The blind side remains the mission amera jones it actually changed the course of the game and put the entire newly formed alliance in a much better position to win. (even done Indy Santos He retched . ) The most impressive thing, though, is that everyone who felt out of the game got together and said, “Hey, let’s play.”

The “leave low” strategy discourages hardball play at first, as it often puts a target on a host’s back. season 23 French “French” Brandon it’s a great example of playing too loud , but too many people confuse playing quietly with not playing at all. There’s a reason the term “furniture” is used to describe guests, and that’s because many believe being alone is a game.

A change that I like Older brother season 24 is that we don’t look at Houseguests being “mobile”, and even if you disagree with how one Houseguest behaves or how another treats one, everyone plays along. They also take risks early on, and those risks are already changing the trajectory of this game in week 3. For all future Houseguests readers, that’s why it’s worth playing early and not flying under the radar.

So many Houseguests simply gave themselves an exponentially greater chance of winning, and all it took was wondering why the house was kicking out a player who wasn’t a big threat. Now the people who controlled the game are surprised and rush in, and that’s because no one in The Leftovers has tried to affirm the classic line of the game: “It’s too early to make moves.” I love to see it and hope it’s a trend that’s here to stay.

Older brother aired on CBS (opens in a new tab) Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. Season 24 is definitely the time when watching live streams is a big time, then beginners should refer to our guide and maybe participate while the game continues.
