Debutant actor plays Jamie Miller in the British miniseries that broke records in the United Kingdom
THE Netflix released the video test of the young man Owen Cooperprotagonist of the British miniseries Adolescence. No previous experience as an actor, Cooper was chosen to interpret Jamie Millera 13 -year -old teenager arrested on suspicion of murder.

“I don’t want to sit in this p**! ”**, Shouts Cooper in one of the scenes, throwing a chair. The sequence reflects the same moment of tension that would later be recorded in a single plan during the final episode.
In another video posted on Netflix networks, Cooper watches his own test alongside Erin Doherty. The actress plays with the look of the colleague at the time of hearing:

Directed by Philip Barantini and with Stephen Graham in the cast, Adolescence became a phenomenon in the United Kingdom. The debut episode was watched by about 6.5 million people in the first week, according to the agency data Barbreaching the top of the British weekly ranking – an unprecedented feat for an original streaming series.
