Batfleck is back! The sequel ‘Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom’, with Jason Momoa, confirms the return of Ben Affleck’s Batman to the DC universe.
Aquaman star Jason Momoa has announced The return of Ben Affleck as Batman for ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’the new sequel to the DC Comics universe.
Momoa posted a series of photos on Instagram of him and Affleck smiling, along with a video that appears to show a Warner Bros. Studio tour buggy filled with tourists bumping into the actor’s trailer.
“BRUCE AND ARTHUR REUNITED. love you and miss you Ben. WB Studio tours just explored the back room. Caught on set with all the great things coming with AQUAMAN 2,” Momoa posted in the post.
In the video, Momoa greets fans as they arrive at a not-so-secret trailer marked “BA.”
Laughing, he joked: “Well, it’s not a fucking secret anymore, is it? sorry kids. That’s what happens, Warner Bros, when you walk off our set and our fans are there. Hey guys, have a good time.”
Still laughing, he continued, “We tried to keep it a secret!” before opening the door to Affleck’s trailer as he’s still filming, saying, “Sorry bro. Oops!”
In James Wan’s sequel ‘Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom’, which hits theaters next spring, Momoa will reprise his role as the title character.
Affleck previously revealed why He stopped playing the role of Batman after the premiere of ‘Justice League’ in 2017.
“I had a really bad experience around Justice League for a lot of different reasons. I don’t blame anyone, a lot of things happened. But really what happened is that he was not happy. I didn’t like being there,” she explained.
“I didn’t find it interesting. And then some really nasty things happened, horrible things. But that’s when I said to myself, ‘I’m not going to do that anymore.'”
‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ currently has a release date of March 17, 2023..
