Beetlejuice 2 Channel+: Should you see the 1988 film to understand the rest?

After the viewers laughed and scared Beetlejuice (released in 1988), Tim Burton chose to revive the second part of this Joker’s soul last year.

Beetlejuice beetlejuice again follows Detz Family, which after a terrible tragedy returns to the winter river. Always in memory of the beetle, Lydia sees that her life is outraged when her daughter Astrid, a rebellious teenager, accidentally opens the portal beyond her.

Although chaos is hanging on both worlds, it is only a matter of time until someone names the beetle three times and that this demon returns to sow the disorder…

A great film that knows how to make fun of

Inserting the Halloween atmosphere (and never premature for it), beetlejuice beetlejuice is an excellent film. Danny Elfman’s Macabre Music welcomes the first pictures and puts us in the tone. We are well aware of Tim Burton’s cinema to know that his film will be full of monsters and other things, but he loves McAbre as well as black humor.

And this is exactly what beetlejuice 2 is: an unparalleled generosity film on which chains and replicas are removed. Visually, the filmmaker has fun, looking for innovation by changing style and sub-jar from one plan to another. It offers 1h45 visual foli, which we are happy to receive (we are talking about the musical sequence? !!).

There is no need for the first film to appreciate Tim Burton’s cinema and this new sentence. It has to be said that the scenario is quite easy to understand … a little extra. We could be reprimanded for his multiple intrigue and the results of robbery, Monica Beluchi’s very small role, whose character is not really deep or profitable. Just as Justin Therus camped, who is only there to hate the viewer.

But it also happens because other actors get all the light: Ryder-O’Hara-Trio Trio is so many wonders that we have eyes for him … and we hope that one thing, one day, see on the screen.
