The civil police are investigating the death of Luis Carlos de Arruda Dos Santos, 58 years old, occurred at dawn on Saturday (29) in the Hípica district, at Passo Fundo. The case is treated as intentional murder, since the victim was found in a car with a chest perforation.

About 1 hour, a military brigade team identified a black chevrolet classic stopped in Canoas Street, apparently after colliding against the grid of a residence. When they checked the vehicle, the police found Santos unconscious at the driver’s seat. The mobile emergency assistance service (Samu) was activated, but the rescuers confirmed the death on site.

Witnesses informed the police who, a few moments before the accident, Santos would have been involved in a discussion with the owners of a bar in the region due to a debt relating to air conditioning. The researchers now analyze whether the disagreement may have motivated fatal aggression.

The body was sent to the General Institute of competence (IGP) for the Necropssia and Alcohol tests, which must determine the exact cause of death and if there was alcohol consumption.

According to the police registers, Santos had a history of exterior, disobedience and seizure of object. The case is under investigation by the Police Station for murder of Passo Fundo.
