Comedies, dramas and romance are part of this week’s afternoon TV Globo national team
THE Afternoon Session Between March 31st and April 4, a selection of movies that is going through adventure, friendship, romance, family dramas and even female espionage action. This week’s schedule includes titles such as Mr. Churchwith Eddie Murphyand the drama Life is nowstarring Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish.

Monday, March 31- The call of the forest
Synopsis: After years living like a pet dog at a family’s house in California, Buck needs to contact his wildest instincts to survive in a hostile environment like Alaska. Over time, his fierce side develops and he becomes the great leader of his pack. Based on Jack London’s eponymous book, released in 1903.
Tuesday, April 1- Life is now
Synopsis: When the veteran comedy writer Charlie Burnz (Billy Crystal) meets New York Singer Emma Payge (Tiffany Haddish), an unlikely winner of a comedy legend to lunch, although they don’t know who he is, they form an unlikely but funny friendship. Emma had a difficult beginning with Charlie, but in a short time, each finds a kind of soul mate, forging a deep bond that drives the gap from the generation and redefines the meaning of love and trust.
Wednesday, April 2- Recipe for Love
Synopsis: Gabby Ferrar (Roselyn Sanchez) moves to Massachusetts, aiming to open a restaurant and be a renowned cooking boss. Arriving in town, she meets Caleb Delaney (Eric Winter), a single father who manages her own restaurant and trains the women’s softbol team. Both restaurants will compete at the Summer Taste Festival, held in Bright Shore. During the summer, Gabby finds joy by managing his own restaurant while discovering love.
Thursday, April 3- Mr. Church
Synopsis: Based on a royal story, the film revolves around a cooking (Eddie Murphy) who is hired by a family’s patriarch to be the home cook and meals his girlfriend and daughter after his death.
Friday, April 4- The panthers
Synopsis: Elena Houghlin (Naomi Scott) is a brilliant scientist and chief programmer of a revolutionary sustainable energy management project called Calisto. When she finds out that her invention is about to fall into the wrong hands and become a threat to humanity, the help of Townsend’s superhabilative spies are needed. Panthers knew Wilson (Kristen Stewart) and Jane Kano (Ella Balinska). Now that Charlie Townsend’s research and security company has expanded internationally, Multiple Bosleys around the world command the highly trained and brave agents of the field.
