Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. The one-minute video, which so far has little specifics regarding the plot, was posted in two ways: the main version was published on the official website, and the second was broadcast live on YouTube. Moreover, with each new teaser playback on the video hosting, there is a countdown to the premiere.
The plot of the picture will be dedicated to Robert Oppenheimer, an American theoretical physicist, who is called the “father of the atomic bomb”. Cillian Murphy played the title role.
The cast also includes Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer’s wife), Matt Damon (Head of the Manhattan Project), Robert Downey Jr., Dane DeHaan, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Josh Hartnett, Jack Quaid, Gustaf Skarsgård and Alden Ehrenreich.
Filming of the tape ended in May, and the premiere will take place on July 21, 2023.
