Back in the future 2: No one has seen this character yet, but he still made us laugh!

We are in the middle of the next 2. After a small trip in 2015, then in the 1985 alternative and apocalyptic version, Doc and Marty returned in 1955. Their mission is to avoid the young version of the old Bif almanac’s sport to prevent it from fate and not control the Hill Valley.

Bifth’s grandmother

To achieve their goals, two acolitics take their oath to the enemy in the spin. Equipped with a pair of binoculars and toxic-toxes, so March sends in front of a biff’s house, slightly circulated:

“I went to the address. He’s the only tannenia in the directory but it would be surprising that Biff lives here. He looks like an old lady’s house”It explains the document.

In the small garden of the house, we can observe some sculptures and especially quite guilty signs, officially prohibiting the intersection of the fence: “The criminals are persecuted! It depends on you !!”

This “on”, the viewer understands who is a few seconds when Bif leaves the house and grandmother’s voice resonates from the inside:

“Biff !! Biff !! Where are you going? When do you come back?

Gertrude Tannen!

With the exact line of humor that returns the salt of the trilogy to the future, this humorous sequence gives us two sizes: Bif lives with grandmother, and the latter is called … Gertrude Tanen (as we learn from another small mark that is suspended at the front door).

Laughter is difficult to imagine (since we can never see it) the “old” version of the biff, which is mounted on a chair and a pipe smoking. To enhance this comic effect and complete this abstract drawing for each viewer’s imagination, it is actress Thomas F. Wilson (Bifth’s translator) who votes for his grandmother. In the French version, on the other hand, it is impossible to know who is hiding behind, but one thing is convinced: it is not Richard Darboy.

We can hear the old woman, later in the film a little later, when Biff goes to the ball and becomes a reprimand again.
