ROBERT DE NIRO will return toCannes Film Festival for a special tribute: the actor will be awarded theHonorary Gold Palm During the opening ceremony of the 78th edition of the event, which will take place on May 13th. The next day, he will also conduct an exclusive class to the festival public.

Assiduous goer of Cannes, Of nyro was at the event in 2023 for the debut of Flower Moon Assassinsdirected by Martin Scorsese. In 2011, he presided over the festival’s official jury.
