Rapper Nicki Minaj has posted the trailer for a series of documentaries on her career on her social networks. On Instagram, she warned that the production will premiere “sooner than you think”. He added: “It took me some time to perfect this very intimate, delicate, thrilling and inspiring work. When I have decided on a home for this project, I cannot help but reflect on what I am including in this document. Some things they’re so personal, it’s scary. It looks like nothing you’ve ever seen before and I need it to be handled with care. “
This means that the production does not yet have a defined exhibition venue. No release date.
Produced by Canadian company Bron Studios, the trailer, which promises to reveal material without showing anything too different, opens with the image of a very young Nicki, who raps and reflects on her beginnings. She says, “Rappers weren’t really on the charts at the time. I’m fighting for girls who never thought they could win.”
The trailer also features clips of Minaj with her husband Kenneth Petty discussing the moment she “became the strongest I’ve ever been in my life”.
