The conversations between the delegations occurred in Oman
The United States government evaluated Saturday (12) Conversations with Iran, organized in Oman, on its rapid progress of the nuclear program.
In a declaration, the White House said that the negotiations were “very positive and constructive”, as well as confirming a new meeting between the delegations next Saturday (19).
Tehran, in turn, praised the atmosphere of the meeting and also declared that the conversations were positive.
The indirect negotiations were carried out under the mediation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Badr al-Busaid. However, Iranian and American negotiators also spoke directly for “a few minutes”.
According to the Tasmin news agency, Iran has repeatedly stressed that it will not accept US threats and discuss the nuclear question only based on mutually advantageous negotiations. .
