Cinemao Morro dos Ventos Uivant: new adaptation with Margot Robbie and Jacob Eordi has an unprecedented image of set

Film directed by Emerald Fennell opens in February 2026 in the United States

A new image of the set of The Horro dos Ventos Uivantwas released on Sunday (13) and shows the actors Margot Robbie and JACOB ELORDI characterized in a funeral scene. The recording was made in the UK and, although filming has already been closed, set records continue to appear on social networks.

Directed from Emerald FennellOscar winner for Beautiful revenge and responsible for Saltburnthe new adaptation of the classic Emily Brontë will be launched in the United States on February 14, 2026.

The novel’s plot takes place in the Yorkshire region and follows the involvement of two families, the Earnshaw and the Lintonfrom the perspective of Mr. Lockwood, Thrushcross Grange Property tenant. Upon hearing the narrative of Nelly Dean, housekeeper of the Earnshaw family, he discovers the troubled story of love between Heathcliffan orphan adopted, and Catherine Earnshaw.

The work has had several versions for cinema and television. Most adaptations climbed white actors to play Heathcliff, a character that many scholars of the work interpret as racialized or brown, including Tom Hardy, Ralph Fiennes, Timothy Dalton and Laurence Olivier. Just the 2011 film, directed by Andrea Arnold, had a black actor on the role: James Howson.

There is no confirmed date of debut in Brazil yet.
