During filming Wild girls (1998), thriller directed by John McNaughton, Kevin Bacon He had a bizarre experience: he saw a corpse in the middle of the set. In the movie, he interpreted the role of Sergeant Ray Duquette.
In an interview with Varietyin which he reflected on some of the most famous lines of his career, the artist recalled the day the production team found a lifeless body in the lease of the film, also starring Snow campbell (Suzie Marie Toller), Matt Dillon (Sam Lombardo), Denise Richards (Kelly Lanier Van Ryan) and Bill Murray (Kenneth Bowden).
“We were in the swamp one night – a lot of mosquitoes, wow! – And we were filming a scene, I don’t remember what it was, near a river. They had kind of put a raft there so they could put on a light,” he said.
Suddenly, I heard at Walkie-Talkie: ‘Hey, I think I just saw a body floating’. And it was a floating body. It was kind of an indication of the vibe of the movie.
Already in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, John McNaughton talked about the bizarre moment, which happened in a swamp EVERGLADES: “We called the police, and they grabbed the body and prevented him from getting into our scene.”
