Inaugurated in April 2015 with Renegade, the Goiana Factory (PE) also produces The Jeep Compass, Commander, Fiat Toro and Ram Rampage today
Inaugurated in April 2015, the Stellantis factory in Giana (PE) turns 10 in 2025. The unit, which debuted with the production of Jeep Renegade, also marks a decade of the start of the American brand car production in the country. Currently, the unit also produces the picks -Up of the trigger of the Jeep Bussol, Commander and Fiat Toro and Ram. Fiat pickup is also produced as RAM 1000 for export.
It is worth remembering that the history of Jeep in Brazil has passed a long time since the late 1940s, with the CKDS unit assembly in the country, subjected to production in the Overland factory of Willys in San Bernardo do Campo (SP) and also to Jabotão Dos Guarapes (PE), in the 50s and 1950s.

In 2015, the Goiana Factory (PE) started the production of Jeep Renegade in Brazil, still on the days when the Stellantis group did not exist and that the partnership between Fiat and Jeep was called FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). The model, produced to date, was responsible for disseminating the brand in the country. Shortly thereafter, the unit started producing the Fiat Toro and Jeep Compass pickup, both in 2016.
In 2021, the factory received another model: Jeep Commander. With seven seats and based on the compass, the SUV is the largest car made in the factory. Already in 2023, the Pernambuco factory began the production of Ram Rampage, the first exclusive car of the brand developed outside the United States.

For the next few years, the factory is prepared for the start of the production of electrified vehicles. Considering April 2015 to date, Jeep has sold over 1.1 million SUVs in the country. In the first quarter of this year, the brand recorded 26,580 plates, a growth of 4% compared to the first quarter of 2024.
Jeep follows a 5.1% share in the Brazilian market and is the best seventh sale in the national market. Last month, Jeep added 8,170 units sold, according to Fenabrave. Most Jeep sales in the country come from the three SUVs produced by the brand to Giana (PE): Renegade, Commander and Commander.

Since April of last year, Jeep has launched the 272 HP Uragano Turbo engine for compass and commander, new versions for renegade and has expanded the 5 -year guarantee throughout the national range. Among the imported, the brand repositioned the Wrangler and Gladiator models. Already in 2025, the Jeep commander has already presented a new 2.2 HP turbodiesel engine.
