Six years have passed since Netflix introduced us to the protagonists of one of its star fictions. They started as children and now they are teenagers who have taken a radical turn. Look look…
Five years ago, Netflix offered us an amazing trip to a mysterious place called Hawkins. At the time, we were unaware that the series they were presenting to us would become a huge phenomenon and one of our favorite titles. ‘Stranger Things’ It is already a cult fiction. Its gripping story and characters made us fall in love with the Duffer brothers’ creation instantly and now we are counting down the months until the season 4 premiere which will take us to California.
As a production turns years, all its members evolve at the same time. I’m sure you remember the cast of ‘Stranger Things’ at the beginning and now you are going to be amazed with the physical change that they have experienced since that start. They have gone from being children to teenagers who are losing the innocence of the first chapters. Thus, the plot will become more mature reflecting the typical problems of the age they have today. The truth is that we were not too aware of its transformation until Netflix shared some images with the comparisons. Some are unrecognizable!
Our beloved Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, was twelve years old when she was given this role. We have seen her wearing different ‘looks’ on screen, but in this sequence we can see how she has gone from her shaved head to looking ‘great hair’.
Mike still retains the same features, but he has also grown older and Finn Wolfhard has already blown 18 candles. One more has Dustin. The actor who plays him, Gaten Matarazzo, maintains that funny gesture, his curls and his inseparable cap. The most brutal changes come with Will (Noah Schnapp) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin). These two have grown older in a breath. The passage of time has also left its mark on Steve (Joe Keery) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) who started in their early twenties and are now in their thirties. We just hope to continue seeing them ‘matamorphose’ longer because that would mean that we have ‘Stranger Things’ for a while.
