THE Sony Pictures released the first trailer for I know what you did last summerdirect sequence of films released in 1997 and 1998. The feature marks the return of the original protagonists Jennifer Love Hewitt (Julie James) and Freddie Prinze Jr. (Ray Bronson) and debut in theaters on July 18, 2025.

Under the direction of Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Justicers) and co-script signed by Sam Lanskythe new production ignores the events of the third movie and the TV series, resuming the narrative line of the second feature.
