In the plot, the fighter Cassie (Sofia Carson) is a clerk in a nightclub in Austin, Texas. His desire, however, is to pursue a career as a singer and songwriter. They decide to get married before Luke goes to war, which will give them access to some perks of the boy’s position in the military. Directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum, Purple Hearts, continuity in love is based on the book of the same name by Tess Wakefield and the screenplay is by Liz W. Garcia and Kyle Jarrow.
