This special year opens with a great moment this Wednesday, August 3, with a screening of David Leitch’s Bullet Train with Brad Pitt. More than 8,000 people will gather in Piazza Grande to discover the film that will kick off the festivities. A guaranteed show.
Many filmmakers will be awarded within the framework of the festival. Filmmaker Kelly Reichart to receive Pardo d’onore Manor; Lori Anderson, Ticinomoda Vision Award; Gitanjali Rao, Locarno Kids Award la Mobiliare; Jason Blum, Award for Best Independent Producer; Costa-Gavras, Pardo alla carriera Ascona-Locarno and Matt Dillon, Lifetime Achievement Award.
