The agreement in the resolution of the disputes of the CBF national chamber provides for a debt of $ 76.9 million; No payment can prevent the registration of new athletes
Corinthians’ gross debt reached 2.5 billion dollars in 2024, according to a financial report prepared by the club. Part of the liability is negotiated through the national chamber of resolution of disputes (CNRD), an organ created by Brazilian football confederation (CBF). The agreement, approved in April of this year, allows the club to pay the amount R $ 76.9 million Without suffering sports sanctions.
Following a proposal presented by Corinzi, creditors were able to take their considerations until they arrived in a definition. An important point is that there are no guarantees for non -payment. The justification is that Non -compliance authorizes CNRD to apply the prohibition of ban on the recording of new athletes for a minimum period of six months.
The process covers $ 76.9 million to be paid, as well as an amount of 363 thousand euros (R $ 2.3 million). The CNRD judgment panel accepted the payment plan in 24 quarterly installments. The first is scheduled for July 17 of this year, while the last will be on April 17, 2031.
Minimum amount for process to be paid in each installment
- 1st to the 4th quarter R $ 150 thousand
- From 5 to the 8th quarter R $ 200 thousand
- From 9 to 12th quarter R $ 350 thousand
- From 13 to 16th quarter r $ 500 thousand
- From 17 to the 20th quarter R $ 750 thousand
- 21st at the 24th quarter R $ 1.5 million
Of each installment, 80% of the amount are intended for the creditor, while the other 20% must cover the commissions. The estimate made by CNRD is that at least half of the processes will be paid within two and a half years. The amounts take into consideration the consumer price index (IPCA) for correction.
