If this were the story of the scenario, Latoya Morgan (Turn), who had an idea of Duster and who wrote the first version of the script, quickly joined the project by JJ Abrams. The show and director, who is obliged to leave the most drug series of television in the early 2000s (Aka, lost, frozen), left a small screen for space adventures (Star Wars, Star Trek). So we expect a lot from this series, the first two episodes of which were given last night at Palais des festivals.
It is not easy to enter the world of Duster, which is very American-American. The history of trade unions in Deep America in the 1970s, along with racism, is not the most charming. The first two episodes have little spices and challenges to gain our interest. We also expect a fantastic little fate to see – one of the brands of JJ Abrams – or its famous “The Secret Box” At the end of the projection, we are facing quite a classic police series.
If the scenario is not a strong point in Duster, we were amazed at the teams, costumes and music. The teams have been particularly well -versed in the excellent reconstruction work and Duster’s choice as one of the main characters is good. Josh Holou is not missing in the class with his long hair, his elephant legs and his red car.
If you still haven’t bothered your character, we have fallen in love with another Duster Star. Rachel Hillson is in the role of Nina, a young FBI recruiting, which has to prove to herself because she is a woman … and that she is black. His character is inspired by all investigators who also had to fight against the system in the 1970s. His interpretation derives from real strength, many humility and emotions. A real suppression.
Duster sometimes suggests that once in Hollywood, Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino (2019) film, with this sometimes mediocre tone and its uninformed violence in certain scenes (for example, where the perpetrator ends with a bowling balloon).
