Cinemaa Hora do Evil: horror movie with Julia Garner gains official trailer

With a few months left for the launch,The Time of Evil(2025), new horror movie directed by Zach Creggerhad its first trailer and official poster released by the Warner Bros. This Tuesday, 29. Starring Julia Garner, Josh Brolin and Alden Ehrenreichthe feature debut on August 7 in Brazilian theaters.

The trailer highlights the sudden disappearance of children at dawn, while other characters – such as detectives, teachers and family – face macabre events. The premise of the film is summarized in the official poster:

“Last night, at 2:17 am, all the children in Mrs. Gandy woke up, left their beds, opened the doors of their homes and walked at night … and never returned.”

Described as a horror epic with multiple interconnected stories, The Time of Evil It was compared to the narrative structure of Magnolia (1999), Paul Thomas Anderson. Since sending the script in January 2023, the project has generated interest between several studios and streamings, resulting in an auction fierce by production and distribution rights.

As part of the agreement signed, CREGGER It obtained creative approval for the final cut of the film, as long as production reached the stipulated grade in audience tests. In addition, the filmmaker will receive participation in the box office profits and will be guaranteed distribution in international theaters by Warner Bros..

The cast of The Time of Evil It also includes Benedict Wong, Amy Madigan, Austin Abrams and Cary Christopher. Production is signed by Roy Lee, JD Lifshitz, Raphel Margules and Miri yoonwho also worked in Brutal nights (2022), previous success of CREGGER.
