Superman & Lois fans will be able to discover the end of the first season in record time. Indeed, after just two evenings on air, TF1 has decided to fast-track the series from this Tuesday, August 2nd.
Although 3 new episodes were originally planned, Front Page revised its plans upwards. Episode 4 will air this Tuesday, August 2, from 9:10 p.m. Next week, TF1 will air the last 5 episodes of Season 1. So fans of the series will have to stay up until 1:20 a.m. to find out what awaits Clark Kent, Lois Lane and their two children in the finale.
While the channel has not officially explained its decision, this latest programming change is likely to be explained by the disappointed audience of the Arrowverse series, which is hosted by Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch.
During its second week of airing, Superman & Lois managed to average just 2.0 million viewers before its first two evening episodes, or just 11.5% of the market share and 20.2% of the FRDA-50.
Last week, 2.49 million curious people stood in front of TV screens to watch the series, or 16.3% of the public and 29.8% of FRDA-50. A significant drop that forced TF1 to make changes in the following weeks.
For the most impatient, and especially those who don’t want to stay up until dawn to find out about the adventures of Clark Kent and his family, the first two seasons of Superman & Lois are now available in their entirety. Salto is a streaming platform.
Find new episodes of Superman & Lois every Tuesday from 9.10pm on TF1.
