This feature film is the adaptation of Riooko Ikeda’s episodic manga published in the early 1970s, intrigue during the French Revolution.

In France, anime was named Lady Oscar when she was given a A2 rest show. His credits, which are interpreted by Marie Dufin, of course, remained the memory of the young audience at the time, but it was not used in adapting this new manga.
Manga follows an Oscar’s adventure, a young woman who grew up like her father, who dreamed only about her son. Tried out in military art, he loans as a man until he becomes the head of the royal Guard, who is responsible for protecting the Queen Marie-Antinette. The Oscar character is inspired by the Eon Knight, who lived at the same time.

Versailles pink story is also known for film directors, especially for Jacques Demi lovers. The filmmaker adapted to the real footage of Manga in 1979 with Katrion McCank in the role of Lady Oscar and Christine Bhm, Marie-Antoine.
