Taron Egerton Spent Years Denying He Played For The Role In The Star Wars Derivative That Ended With Alden Ehrenreich

Taron Egerton revealed that, a few years ago, he entered the race for the role of Han Solo, but gave up being Chewbacca’s best friend. The actor spent years denying having disputed the role, which ended with Alden Ehrenreich.

Recently, Taron Egerton talked about the possibility of taking on the role of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The actor had already commented on the desire to play the hero in other interviews.

For the The New York Times, Egerton admitted to having met Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, to negotiate his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and take on a role in the world’s most successful film franchise.
