Later that day, Kevin finds Emma to show her the photos from Camille’s notebook that he took the day before. For Emma, there is no doubt that her sister Jacob is complicit in her mother’s death. He even thinks that Camila is connected to Cesar’s disappearance.

Emma remembers that a week or two before she left Marseilles, a young woman asked her if she would save César or Baptiste in the event of a pandemic. He answered Baptiste and Cesar disappeared.

For Kevin, this is not evidence of Camille’s guilt. Emma also confides in him that the last time she saw Caesar, she felt like she was saying goodbye to him. Emma suspects Camille of killing the young man. And he thinks only they can stop him.

Baptiste, Justin and the RCRCI team, consisting of Clara Debussy, the engineer’s office, firefighters and gendarmes, go to the place where the last fire started to investigate. They do not leave details to chance. Justine manages to find the remains of a small abalone, which proves that this fire is indeed the work of an arsonist.

A few minutes later, Eric and Simon, who live on a farm about ten kilometers away, go to meet the firemen. Justin takes advantage of their presence and asks if they saw anything suspicious, the fire is not accidental. But they did not witness anything.

Although Baptiste reassures them and confirms that the fire is indeed out, he still advises them to take shelter as the vegetation is dry and the fire could start again at any time. But Simon can’t bear to leave his animals behind.

Back at the barracks, Clara Debussy confides her concerns to Baptiste and Justin. He thinks that the burning is following an esoteric ritual. The investigation continues after scientific police found a fingerprint on the shell.

Prune leads Patrick and Bohr to believe that Jennifer Mitchum, an American star, has fallen in love with Aurora and Rafael, and that the two children were pre-selected to play the twins. Boher already envisions Aurora as a future star.

Patrick brings him down to earth by reminding him that they are investigating a child fraud. Just then, Boher receives a message from Prune, who tells him that she wants to come to his house. Before leaving him, Patrick makes sure his friend stays focused on the investigation.

A little later, Prune rings Jean-Paul’s doorbell. She angrily tells him that Aurora and Rafael were not chosen in the end because another casting director offered a 10,000 euro bribe to the producer to cast his son. Boher invites a young woman for a drink.

Settled on the sofa and after a few drinks, Prune confides in Bohr. She raised her son alone and in her eyes, Jean-Paul is the ideal man. The latter is under his spell. The temperature rises and Prune asks Bohr if he can take off his tank top. In a moment of clarity, Boher slips away and locks himself in the bedroom.

She then sends Patrick a text message asking for help. The policeman gives up and goes to his stepmother. Prune explains to them that it would be necessary to give 15,000 euros to the production in order for them to choose their children. Suddenly the young woman does not feel well. Boher offers to let him sleep, but Patrick intervenes and offers to take him home.
