One of the greatest names of Brazilian spiritism, the middle Divaldo Franco died at the age of 98 Tuesday. Although he was never a biological father, he had many children in his career.
Divaldo founded the Path of Redemption of the Spiritist Center (1947) and The Mansion of the Way (1952), which today constitutes an admirable educational complex and partner -assistance, with 44 buildings. There, more than five thousand people per day are served.
But the vehicle has still adopted 650 children, raised in the old houses of the home. He was affectionately called “Uncle Divaldo”.
Divaldo’s family has grown only over time. According to the Federal University of Bahia, he also had more than 200 grandchildren and large grandchildren.
The social work of the home residence serves over 3,000 young people in need of Salvador and the work is maintained with the sale of books, ribbons and DVDs of medium lessons.
