Apple Music launches the playlist import tool

Apple Music has started to test a new feature that allows you to import competing libraries and playlists such as Spotify, Deezer, YouTube Music and Tidal.

The tool is integrated with the Apple Music App for iPhone, iPad, Android and you can also access the service web interface.

According to a new Support page published by AppleThe function allows you to transfer songs, albums and playlists created by the user. The playlists automatically generated by origin platforms, however they are not compatible with migration.

How playlist imports should work

Apple partnership to create the resource

Apple has developed the function in collaboration with the creators of Songshift, an application already known for allowing transfers between various streaming services. Despite the new integration, Songshift continues to work as an independent app, supported by multiple platforms.

The news is currently available only for users in Australia and New Zealand, without the expected global version.
