In homage to the meteoric career of Vinicius Jr., Nike presents the first exclusive edition of the mercurial line developed specifically for the Brazilian star. The model, called Nike Mercurial Vapor Vini Jr. Player Edition, affects the market with a bold and surprising gaze, full of references to the origins, style and speed of striker of Real Madrid.
The new boot is, above all, a symbol of the rise of Jr. in world football. The “speed color” – a metallic tone that dominates the design – visually translates the main feature of the player: the speed that pushed him from the courts of Rio de Janeiro to the star in the great finals of the Champions League.
“Looking at my favorite players who grew up, everyone wore Nike showers”, recalls Vini Jr. “for many years played exclusively with Mercurial, including goals scored in two Champions League finals with them. For my first Nike Player Edition boot, there was no reason to change what was already making me fly.”
The boot design is loaded with personal elements. The internal side shows a gradient from red to yellow, alluding to the player’s formation years in Flamengo. Bets on the outside on blue, green and yellow, clear reference to the Brazilian team. The phrase “Vini Fly, Vini Voa” is repeated along the side, strengthening the concept of speed. Swoosh, a Nike logo, appears in large size: an aesthetic that refers to the vaporefly of the example and Alphafly Super brand.
Other visual details strengthen the athlete’s emotional bond with their roots. The color palette, inspired by the kite that colors the skies of Rio de Janeiro, is accentuated by a black skin in Nike Gripknit, which contrasts with the white uniform of Real Madrid and intensifies the sense of movement. The personal logo of Vini Jr. is present in the language of the boot, while the message “Vini Fly, Flies wines” reappears in the heel. The pearl sole with a gradient finish completes the visual set.

The new edition presents a three -chamber air zoom unit, integrated with the traction plate, now with a corrugated block model to maximize acceleration. The internal structure is designed to give firmness to the feet, allowing quick explosions on the field. GRIPKNIT technology on the tip of the boot improves the control of the balls, adjusting the heel and the flyknit necklace around the ankle offers comfort and stability.
