During a ceremony with the president of Angola, João Lourenço, this Friday (23), President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) defended multilateralism, the conservation of the environment and launched an indirect criticism of the United States representative, Donald Trump.




“Since it is natural among strategic partners, we discuss issues of global importance. Angola and Brazil share a firm commitment for multilateralism and international cooperation in a context in which the world has to face so many internal and international conflicts,” said Petista in the Palazzo Planalto after a private meeting with Lourenço.

Lula also said that the country will host the COP 30, in November, in Belém, “in the heart of the Amazon”, and said that it will be very important to have the presence of its angular colleague to this event, which should not have the presence of Trump, who has removed his country from the Paris agreement and Den gives the existence of climate change.
