The collectives and academic centers of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) occupy the lost campus of the institution, to the west of the capital, from Wednesday night, 21 years old. According to students, employment occurs in protest against cases of academic racism and against the negligence of the university structure.

The group is claiming different PUC measures, including:
- Mandatory anti -racist training;
- Channel of denunciation of cases of racism;
- Quotas for trans people;
- Reopening of Santiago Dantas;
- Expansion to two free meals to all scholarships;
- Freezing/reduction of monthly commissions;
- Expansion of bags of proti and fundasp.
The Court of San Paolo issued a prohibition mandate on Friday 23, regarding the interruption. In the decision, the judge Marcelo Augusto Oliveira authorized the use of the police forces, if necessary, for the removal of the students who occupy the institution.

Fundasp added that he believes in the dialogue and in the common sense of the occupants of the Monte Alegre campus and hopes that he should not use the order of the court issued.
