Drag queen Shea Couleé has joined the cast of “Iron Heart”, a new Marvel series in development for Disney +.

She reached the semifinals of the ninth season of the reality show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2017 and ended up winning the fifth edition of the program’s highlights, the “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” in 2020. Also, this year she is back to compete in a special version of the show “All Stars” only with the champions of the program, reaching the semifinals again.

His role in the production was not revealed.

“Ironheart” stars Dominique Thorne (“If Beale Street Could Talk”) as genius inventor Riri Williams, who creates the most advanced armor since Tony Stark’s invention of Iron Man. A recent character, she was created by screenwriter Brian Michael Bendis and Brazilian artist Mike Deodato in 2015, as a possible replacement for Iron Man, who didn’t die in the comics.

Riri will be presented later this year in the film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, which will be released in theaters in October. And his participation will continue in the new series, which was announced in December 2020 and won a preview prediction for 2023, during the recent International Comic-Con.

The cast of the attraction will also include Alden Ehrenreich (“Solo: A Star Wars Story”), Anthony Ramos (“In a Neighborhood of New York”), Manny Montana (“Good Girls”), Lyric Ross (“This Is Us” ) and boyfriend Harper Anthony (“Vulture City”).
