Actor was crushed by a snow cleaner and had over 30 broken bones; Today, he lives with a series of body reconstructions with metals
In 2023, Jeremy Rennerfaced an almost fatal experience. The actor of Archer hawk node Marvel Cinematographic Universe (MCU) had an accident that involved a snow cleaner and had to be resurrected. However, the artist revealed that in fact this was not his desire.
After being taken to the hospital with 38 body fractures, Renner underwent many surgeries. In addition to intense therapy, the actor had metal reinforcements coupled to his body.
In an interview with Podcast Let’s talk off camera (via NME), Renner gave details about the event. He recalled the moment:
“It’s a great relief, I can only say that. It’s a wonderful relief to be out of the body. It’s the most intense and exciting peace that someone can feel.”
When he told about the following moments, the actor reinforced this sensation. In addition, Jeremy also said he didn’t want to have been resurrected:
“You see nothing but what is in your mind. It’s like you were atoms of what you are, your DNA, your spirit. It’s the greatest adrenaline discharge, but accompanied by indescribable peace. It’s magnificent, magical. I didn’t want to go back. I remember it clearly, and when they brought me back, I was very angry.
In recovering consciousness and realizing what had happened, the actor had to keep calm. However, almost fatal experience made him reflect and want to assume the reins of his life:
“I saw my eye again and thought, ‘Ah, shit, I came back.’ I saw my legs and just thought, ‘Yeah … it will hurt later’. So I took a deep breath and said, ‘Beauty, let’s keep breathing.’ To someone who didn’t want to go back, being here again and living all this in my way is powerful. Now I’m the captain of my own ship. No one else. This was very clear.
Remember the accident
On January 1, 2023, Jeremy Renner was rushed to the ICU after being crushed by a clean clean. According to the incident report, issued by Nevada’s authorities, the actor was trying to tow the truck of his nephew, when the clean cleans began to slide aside in a hill.
The document also attested that this led Renner to leave the vehicle without triggering the emergency hand brake, and the attempt to try to save his nephew resulted in more than 30 broken bones. Fortunately, after going through an intense recovery process, the actor was fine.
