Chinese bikes dominate Spain. So much so that, in terms of brands, two of the four best sold in the country they are Chinese. Honda and Yamaha, the legendary Japanese, still resist sales, but, analyzing by model, the scenario begins to change. And a lot.
The best path in Spain is by Voge, the Chinese Giant LonCin Giant’s Premium brand. This manufacturer arrived in the country in 2019 and currently occupies the fourth position in the ranking, behind another Chinese producer who is in third place: Zontes.
Voge has a curious story as it is a Chinese brand that manages to conquer Europe with the help of a German giant. Loncin has been producing BMW engines for over 20 years and many of the current prominent models of the German brand, such as the BMW F 900 GS, have produced these engines in China. This collaboration agreement began in 2005.
Loncin has committed himself to doubled investments in equipment and structures for production based on BMW standards and Euro standards, going beyond the production of engines: it has also completely produced motorcycles for the German company.
In his plan to increase the recipes and strengthen the ties with the Chinese giant, the BMW has licensed some of its platforms and engines for Voge, and it is here that the motorcycle that dominates in Spain was born. Currently, Voge is the fourth largest producer in Spain. BMW occupies the seventh positionface difficulty in growing month to month.
