Attention! The following contains spoilers for the Older brother episode aired on Wednesday 3 August. Read at your own risk!
Older brother Season 24 is on the eve of yet another eviction, and even if it seems pretty clear at this point nicole layog it won’t last anymore Taylor Hale there are other important stories elsewhere. Gossipify follows the game in live streaming with ours Paramount + subscription and this, together with what we learned in the last episode, makes us wonder about the last show.
Kyle Capner Yes alyssa snider They were flirting in the last episode, and that flirting alone was enough for Kyle to quietly derail the Remnants’ plan to take out Alyssa this week. All they had to do was not use the right of veto, that Kyle won together Daniel Durston .
The plan seemed safe until Daniel believed it Week 4 Head of household monte sarto he was trying to use reverse psychology to tell her that Nicole would come home if she used the veto. Daniel didn’t seem convinced and believed that Monte was actually trying to protect Taylor because the votes weren’t there. The alliance had asked Kyle to try to make sure Daniel didn’t use the ban, but as Kyle confessed during his post-ban sessions on Diary Room in the last episode, he didn’t try that hard:
I have to joke with Daniel. He is going to help me get my Alyssa show. So I don’t have to worry about her in the neighborhood and unfortunately for him, she’s about to make one of the dumbest moves in Big Brother history and hide her best friend Nicole … In fact, I have the best of both worlds in this one. . situation. I’m fine with Alyssa because I saved her and technically I didn’t go against what the Leftover alliance wanted. Now Nicole Backdoor Operation can continue as expected.
Fortunately, Kyle didn’t have to protect Alyssa too smoothly in this case. Daniel was already inclined to use the veto however, all Kyle had to do was not tell him he was going to kick Nicole out, and the plan went smoothly.
However, after this incident, Kyle and Alyssa became much closer. Live feeders surprised them making out recently and we’ve seen a lot of awkward conversations between them about intimate things since. In short, this show seems to be turning into a love story, and that doesn’t bode well for Houseguests Older brother.
This is especially true of Kyle, who is part of a group of Remnants who would rather take out everyone outside of their group than attack each other. Alyssa is not part of the alliance and as such she will likely be attacked in the coming weeks. If Kyle was ready to challenge his team for Alyssa this week, he imagines what he will do after the kiss.
Protecting Alyssa is dangerous for Kyle’s game and could jeopardize her high-ranking position in the group right now. Kyle is also part of the “Pound” alliance, which consists of Kyle, Joseph Abdinsalt and Matt Turner. He has further isolation within the alliance, but his bond with Alyssa may render him useless to some. Or worse yet, it could lead to Kyle disbanding The Leftovers and starting another band. Considering he co-founded The Leftovers with Joseph, I think he could do it. Will Kyle stick to his wedding band or risk it all for a romance?
Older brother aired on CBS (opens in a new tab) Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. The live eviction episode should be another big episode, especially if the house decides to surprise Nicole with eviction once again.
