Please note, the following details are the plot of Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode Eleven available on Netflix. If you haven’t seen it yet and don’t want to know anything about its content, I suggest you stop reading this article now!
As promised, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul did make an appearance in the latest season of Better Call Saul, more specifically in the eleventh episode subtly titled “Breaking Bad.” Reprising the roles of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman for the occasion, two of the main actors of the Breaking Bad series return in a flashback after the two characters’ first encounter with the crooked lawyer Saul Goodman (Breaking Bad, season 2).
Many netizens noticed two details about Walter White’s appearance in this episode. VF followers did indeed celebrate Bryan Cranston’s brand new French voice, as it was Stéphane Godin who lent his voice to the American actor, replacing the late Jean-Louis Fauré, who had essentially voiced him throughout his career.
But one more detail, this time visual, caught the attention of even the most observant viewers. Throughout the sequence, Walter White appears faceless, but his skull is covered by a ski mask. This is consistent with the original scene from Breaking Bad (Walter and Jesse try to hide their identities from Saul, but Saul recognizes them because of Walter’s coughing).

This accessory allowed Bryan Cranston to avoid hours of makeup. Because if he shaved his head during the filming of Breaking Bad, the latter chose to use a fake bald head during an eye-catching appearance in the movie El Camino, which is a direct sequel to the series that launched Jesse Pinkman.
The final season of Better Call Saul premieres every Tuesday exclusively on Netflix; The last episode of the series airs on the platform on August 16!
