The American pay channel Starz has confirmed the production of an “Outlander” spin-off and has revealed some details about its plot.
Called “Outlander: Blood of My Blood”, the new series will focus on the love story between Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, who are the parents of character Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).
The prologue will be written by Matthew B. Roberts, who will also serve as the show’s producer and showrunner, thus repeating his role in the main series.
