David Leitch reportedly trained Pitt for fight scenes in the 1999 cult classic; now, the duo resumes a partnership in a new film: “it’s a beautiful symmetry in our friendship”
Brad Pittrevealed that David Leitchits director in Bullet trainwas one of his character’s stunt doubles in Fight Club. The revelation came in the series ‘Around The Table’, from Entertainment Weeklyin which the duo commented on the relationship of the past and the present.
“He trained me for the fights and it worked so well that we went on to other movies together, like troy‘, said pitt.
Launched 24 years ago, Fight Clubpresented pitt as Tyler Durden, a soap salesman who ran a secret wrestling club. In some scenes, whoever appeared in the fights was Leitch.

About the partnership resumed in Bullet train, pitt says Leitch ‘became a director on his own terms, with a language of his own’. ‘And now enter with him as my director, David Leitchthe final author of this work, is a beautiful symmetry in our friendship.’
About Bullet train (2022)
