Tom Rhys Harries (Suspicion) was cast by DC Studios to star in the coming film Bare. James Gunn (Superman), Co-CEO of the studio, he said he was very impressed by the 32-year-old actor’s test.
“After a long and incredibly exhaustive search, we finally have our DCU Card in Tom Rhys Harries“, he said Gunn. “Matt Reeves and I was impressed by the test, and I can’t expect you to see this movie, directed by James Watkins and written by Mike Flanagan.“
Bare (2026) will tell the story of a Hollywood actor who uses a career -growing substance, later finding out that he can reshape his face and shape. What he does not expect, however, is that the situation will come out of control, causing him to turn into a grotesque creature made of clay.
Tom Rhys Harries It will play Matt Hagen and not Basil Karlo. Hagen was the version presented in the animated series of the 1990s. James Watkins (Don’t speak the evil), Bare will hit theaters on September 11, 2026. The script is signed by Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep) and Hossein Amini (Drive).
