For three editions, the Biarritz Film Festival – Nouvelles Waves was responsible for celebrating tomorrow’s movie, thanks to the selection of films around the youth stories and the new faces of the big screen and culture, drawn up under the age of 35.
From June 24 to June 29, the Basque city became the heart of this cinematic event. With eight films of the competition, the festival also respects three exclusive guests: director Sophia Copola, who is the 25th anniversary of Virgin Suicides, British actress Kira Knightley and French actress Vincent Lacoste.
Jury members
On the jury, he is chaired by the director of Halfdan Ullmann tønde, the golden camera in 2024 for the call. It is surrounded by actress Mallory Wanecque (Love Phew), actress Paul Kircher (Animal Kingdom), photographer Malik Bodan, actress Nicholas Galcin (World Masters), Directors Ludovic and Zoran Bucker (after their children), Actress Sofia Monte-Carto.
Classic predicted on the beach
Among the great revision, the festival will open the ball, named by the new vague Richard Linker, with a love letter, so many loved ones in French cinema. In order to close the show, the publication has set its sights on the Homebound, Neraj Guyana’s Indian film, which is a certain look in the UN in the skin.
For special sessions, the Boot Film Festival prepares a beautiful selection, including the horror film of dangerous animals at a crazy session, the classic The Truman Show Session on Beach or the monument’s projection A.
This third edition will also have short films, but also four shorts from the Brazilian wave.
