Anac definitively interrupts Voepass operations, after precautionary suspension

The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) reported Tuesday that she had revoked the air operator certificate to pass, the main company of the Voepass group, more than three months after having suspended the company’s operations with caution by citing “non -compliance” with compliance with the rules of the sector.

In a declaration, the Agency said he decided to have decided after identifying “serious and persistent errors in the company’s analysis and continuous supervision system”, adding that no further resources have been fired to the decision, which included the application of total penalties of R $ 570,400.

The Cassation, according to Anac, is the result of the sanction process that was conducted after the precautionary suspension.

The measures occur months after the accident with an ATR plane of Voepass, which crashed to Vinhedo (SP) in August 2024, killing all 62 people on board. The company suspended its operations in March of this year.

The Certificate of the Air Operator (CoA) represents the responsibility and commitment of the company to follow the security standards required in civil aviation.

Research, Voepass did not speak immediately after a comment done outside the hours of work.
